ADA Consulting Services for First Responders

LEADS provides decades of knowledge, insight, and experience while bridging the gap between first responders and the communities we serve.

Over one quarter of the U.S. population has at least one or more disabilities. Ranging from mobility impairments, to autism or even mental illness, accommodating the needs of people with disabilities is paramount in providing exemplary service while respecting their individual needs.

First responders are called into rapidly evolving situations, and are forced to make decisions based on a variety of factors. Understanding the risks associated in providing services while accommodating the needs of people with disabilities is a difficult task. It is our goal to ensure the needs of both first responders and people with disabilities are met by effectively serving as a conduit between both parties.

By addressing the needs, LEADS strives to improve the working relationship between these two groups; and provide resources to strengthen, that relationship into a partnership to ensure accountability.
